You can purchase a plan anytime during the manufacturer's warranty period. Additionally, you may be eligible to purchase an out-of-warranty plan for a limited time after manufacturer's warranty expiration.
No. The Appliance Service Plan is available for appliances being used in residential/personal applications only.
This is an Appliance Service Plan offered by bosch. Repairs will be performed by bosch Factory Service technicians in major metropolitan areas and bosch authorized servicers located throughout the country, for the term of the Service Plan.
As stated by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission: a warranty comes with a new product and is included in the original price; an Appliance Service Plan is arranged at additional cost. An Appliance Service Plan is a promise to perform (or pay for) specific repairs and/or services. The separate and additional cost distinguishes an Appliance Service Plan or extended protection plan from a warranty.
Depending on your appliance you can select a 1 year or multi-year plan that begins after the expiration of the manufacturer's warranty.
The bosch Appliance Service Plan begins at the end of your manufacturer's warranty. If the plan is purchased after manufacturer's warranty expiration, coverage begins 30 days from plan purchase date.

If your Appliance Service Plan was purchased prior to expiration of your Manufacturer's warranty, then no deductible applies. There is a $75 deductible for claims on contracts if purchased after the Manufacturer's Warranty has expired.

FlexPay is a partial payment option available for debit or credit card purchases. A partial payment plan is defined as a plan that is not paid in full at the time of the initial purchase. FlexPay is available for qualified items only. Your final cost will include a $4.00 admin fee, applicable taxes and surcharges. The selection of FlexPay as a payment option must be made at the time of purchase. FlexPay payments must be received by the scheduled date or your Appliance Service Plan will be suspended until payment is received. The payment schedule will be provided to you at the time of the initial purchase. You are responsible for ensuring that your method of payment (credit or debit card) is valid for each scheduled payment.

Should you fail to resolve a payment issue, we will pro-rate your coverage based on the amount you have already paid and we will send you a notice and provide you with the date upon which your coverage will expire. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions on this website for further information.

The bosch Appliance Service Plan begins on the day after your manufacturer's warranty expires. Plan documents with coverage terms and conditions will be sent to you at the address you provide when purchasing the Plan within 30 days. If you purchase a Plan via the website, a purchase confirmation will also be emailed to you at the email address you provide.
No. The Plan that was purchased stays with the original appliance. You can cancel that Plan for a pro-rata refund or transfer it to the new owner of the appliance. You can then purchase a new Plan on your new appliance.

The bosch Appliance Service Plan is transferable by the original purchaser for the balance of the original extended protection period. The Covered Product may be registered by mailing information to the Administrator at:

Coverage for the bosch Appliance Service Plan is seamless. The Plan must be purchased during the manufacturer's warranty period. Coverage begins the day after the shortest term of the manufacturer's warranty expires, or 30 days after service plan purchase for out-of-warranty service plans.

Repairs for large appliances (such as dishwashers and ovens) will be performed by bosch Factory Service technicians in major metropolitan areas and bosch authorized servicers located throughout the country, for the term of the Service Plan. Repairs for small appliances (such as the countertop espresso machine) will be performed by the Bosch Repair Workshop for the term of the Service Plan.
If the Covered Product cannot be repaired, the Covered Product will be replaced with a product of equal or similar features and functionality.
